This new tipper has now been upgraded as per the new axle-load norms configuration and offers all the benefits of BharatBenz like – global technology and build quality plus power engines to the lower spectrum of mining tipper applications. It shares most of its design and technology with the bigger 2828C Tipper.
It comes with the new and improved OM 926 engine with a 6-cylinder, 7200cc BS6 engine. It gets a G131 6 Speed gearbox along with a 395mm Single dry plate clutch with hydraulic control with clutch booster. The 2828C truck weighs 28000 Nylon Tyre 27600 Mining Tyre with parabolic type leaf spring front suspension with 2 hydraulic shock absorbers and a rear bogie suspension.
